HeyComps is connected to your Shopify store via OAuth. Products sync automatically every 6 hours.

3. Set up your branding
Add your logo and choose your accent colour and font. This branding is applied automatically to every competition and deal page you create — whether it's a Shopify page or a HeyComps-hosted landing page.

4. Build your first competition
Use the Competition Builder to select a prize product from your Shopify store, set the discount percentage for entrant codes, and choose your duration and T&Cs.

5. Build your first deal
Create an email-gated deal that reveals a discount code once a visitor enters their email — a lighter-weight way to grow your list and drive sales alongside your competitions.

6. Publish it
Once you're happy with a competition or deal, click Create Shopify Page and follow the short one-time setup guide to build a real, branded page for it on your store — or share the HeyComps-hosted landing page directly, no Shopify page needed at all. Both are available from the Manage panel on My Competitions or My Deals.

How does HeyComps billing work?▼
HeyComps runs on a simple flat-fee subscription — no commission on any sales. Starter is £19/month (£199/year) and Pro is £39/month (£399/year), both with a 14-day free trial. Billed via Shopify App Billing on your regular Shopify invoice — manage your plan from the Billing & Plan page.
Can I cancel a competition after it goes live?▼
Yes — it's entirely self-service. To stop a competition or deal, remove the HeyComps block from your Shopify page's theme template, or delete the Shopify page itself. If you need help winding one down cleanly (e.g. handling existing entries), contact hey@heycomps.com.
How do discount codes get sent to entrants?▼
Each entrant receives a unique, single-use discount code automatically when they enter a competition or reveal a deal — generated via the Shopify Price Rule API. You do not need to create or distribute codes manually.
My Shopify sync isn't working — what should I do?▼
First, try a manual sync from the Products page. If sync continues to fail, check your Shopify store is active, verify your connection in Settings, or contact support.
