Plain English: We only collect your name, email, and which platform you use (Shopify or Wix) to run this waitlist. We won't sell your data, won't spam you, and you can ask us to delete it any time.
1. Who We Are
HeyComps ("we", "us") is operated by Hey Wave Digital Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company Number: 17291142). We are the data controller under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Contact: support@heycomps.com
2. What We Collect (Waitlist Only)
- Email address — required to send your launch invitation and discount code
- Name — optional, so we can address you personally
- Solution — whether you selected Shopify or Wix
- Signup timestamp & source — for our records
We do not collect payment details at this stage. No payment is taken to join the waitlist.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To send you a launch notification email when HeyComps goes live for your platform
- To send you your exclusive waitlist discount code
- To give you priority access as a founding member
Legal basis: legitimate interests (waitlist communication) and consent (marketing emails).
4. Where We Store It
Your data is stored securely in Supabase, hosted on AWS EU West (Ireland), with encryption at rest and in transit and Row Level Security enabled.
5. Who We Share It With
We do not sell your data. We share it only with Supabase (storage) and our email delivery provider, both bound by UK GDPR-compliant data processing agreements.
6. How Long We Keep It
Waitlist data is retained until you activate a full account at launch, or for up to 24 months if no conversion occurs, after which it is deleted.
7. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, request deletion of, restrict, or object to processing of your data. Email support@heycomps.com with subject "Data Request" — we respond within 30 days. You may also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
8. Cookies
This waitlist page uses only essential cookies required for security and session management.
9. Children
HeyComps is for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
10. Changes
A full Privacy Policy will be published at launch. Continued use of this waitlist form constitutes acknowledgement of this policy.

Plain English: These terms cover the HeyComps waitlist only. Joining is free. The waitlist discount applies to your first year on the Pro plan for the platform you select, and requires activating your account when we launch.
1. About HeyComps
HeyComps lets Shopify and Wix stores run prize competitions and email-gated deals directly on their own store, with no commission charged on any resulting sales. It is operated by Hey Wave Digital Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company Number: 17291142). By submitting the waitlist form, you agree to these terms.
2. The Waitlist
- Joining is free and carries no obligation to subscribe
- You will receive an email when HeyComps launches for your selected platform
- One signup per person — duplicate emails will be deduplicated
3. The Waitlist Discount
Waitlist members who activate an account at launch and subscribe to the Pro plan receive their first year at a discounted price: £69 for Shopify Pro (standard price £399/year) or £39 for Wix Pro (standard price £199/year). This price applies to the first 12 months of a Pro annual subscription only. After the first year, the subscription renews at the then-current standard price unless cancelled. The discount is tied to the platform selected at waitlist signup and is not transferable between platforms.
4. The Free Trial
All new accounts include a 14-day free trial with no card required and no obligation to continue. A competition or deal created during the trial runs to its full end date even if you do not subscribe afterwards.
5. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and operate a genuine Shopify or Wix store to activate a HeyComps account. By joining the waitlist you confirm you meet these requirements.
6. Acceptable Use
You must not submit false information or use automated tools to sign up. We reserve the right to remove any entry believed to be fraudulent, including duplicate signups intended to claim multiple discounts.
7. No Spam Promise
We will only email you to confirm your signup and notify you at launch. You will not receive other marketing emails unless you opt in separately, and can unsubscribe at any time.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this page, including the HeyComps name, logo, and design, is owned by Hey Wave Digital Ltd and protected by UK intellectual property law.
9. Liability
This waitlist page is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Full Terms at Launch
Comprehensive Terms & Conditions covering competitions, deals, discount codes, payments, and platform use will be published when HeyComps launches. You will be asked to accept them when activating your account.
