Do I need to know how to code? ▼

No. The embed is a single iframe snippet — copy it from your HeyComps dashboard and paste it into any Shopify page using the built-in HTML block. No Liquid, no theme editing, no developer required.

Does the competition embed work on any Shopify theme? ▼

Yes — the embed is a standard iframe that works with any Shopify theme (Online Store 2.0 and older themes). It auto-resizes to fit all content so there's no need to set a fixed height, but you can easily tweak it if needed.

How does billing work? ▼

HeyComps is billed entirely through Shopify App Billing — the charge appears on your regular Shopify invoice alongside your other apps. No external card forms or separate invoices. Starter ($25/month or $249/year), Pro ($49/month or $499/year) and Elite ($129/month or $1,299/year) all include a 14-day free trial.

How does HeyComps help me generate leads and drive sales? ▼

When do entrants receive their discount code? ▼

Instantly. As soon as someone submits their entry, HeyComps generates their unique, single-use discount code — they don't need to wait for the competition to close. They can also download their code as a PDF to use later, and you control the expiry date.

Can I show the prize value in a different currency? ▼

Yes — set the prize value in whichever currency your entrants use. You can change it any time from your dashboard and it updates instantly across every live competition page and embed.

Who owns the entrant data? ▼

You do — completely. Entrant names, emails and marketing opt-ins are stored securely and accessible only to you via your HeyComps dashboard. You can export competition entrants and deal-reveal visitors as a CSV at any time, complete with GDPR-compliant marketing opt-in status. HeyComps never contacts your entrants for marketing purposes.

What happens if my plan's entry limit is reached? ▼

Each plan includes an entry allowance per Month across all your competitions: 500 on Starter, 10,000 on Pro, and 50,000 on Elite. If the limit is reached, the embed shows a "temporarily unavailable" message to new entrants. You can upgrade to a higher plan at any time from your billing dashboard for a higher entry allowance.

Can I cancel any time? ▼

Yes — cancel any time from your HeyComps billing page or from your Shopify Admin under Apps → HeyComps. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. No cancellation fees.
